Since I'm playing through Doom64 TC I decided to make a piece of art inspired by it. Actually, by the Dark Nexus concept and the Outcast levels. Hope you guys enjoy it. *thumbs*

Nice, where did you get the Doom-like font Falci?. Is it the regular ttf file wich you later colored green?.

Like the 'movement' you have going on with the blue bits and the texturing of the dark nexus letters. Also the 'circular saw' type symbol thinghy looks cool.

Dani, the font is a simple DOOM font I got somewhere over the net. Added effects via Photoshop. It's the same used for my name in my signature.

DD... actually it was supposed to be a dark sun of some sort... oh, well... I guess it looks like a saw after all. :P

That's what I was going to say! :p But really, it does look great. I like just about everything!

You know I'm actually in a Dark Nexus project still to this day I think, as well as alot of others but the project never lifted off the ground.
Maybe the splash screen that Falci made will inspire enough authors to get back to it?

And yeah it does look pretty good man, nice work. ;)

Actualy I have a feeling that Dark Nexus and The Outcast levels were two different mods for the Doom64 TC... Maybe Kaiser would be so kind to come by and tell us the truth.

If I don't get time to do a research first.

Just gave a look to Doom Depot. Indeed Dark Nexus and The Outcast Levels are different projects.

So I think I'll change the subtitle to this Artwork.

I want ideas! Anyone's got one? Can't be too long, can't be too short either. It must fit aproximately the same area "The outcast levels" fits.

Strange... why can't I edit my posts? Well... I've just updated the titlepic. This is the best subtitle I could come with. Hope you guys enjoy it. Also... I did some Outcast art I'll be uploading in a mere momment to show you guys in a new thead.
