The left one is a man and wearing some biohazard armour and the right one is a woman and is wearing a commando armour. They're supposed to be somewhat similar, but I'm feeling they're too similar... Any ideas to make them more different looking?

Radically changing the shoulder piece´s shape?. Something that would be upwards inclined like a horn, perhaps?.

Allright... spikes... I also added some pockets. They both have same kind of pockets in the belt area. The biohazard armour suit got some survival thing to the front. Maybe other differences could done with texturing. Maybe with animating too, though I've kept them same size, so I could use the same skeleton and animations for both. Now they're both around 3300 polygons.

Edit: I made some third Noid character, completely new outfit, not based on the earlier, like that biohazard armour was based on that commando armour. I think I'll add some more polygons into the cloak bottom.

I wonder if the spikes will be enough to distinguish them... Maybe more aggresive colour differences could do the trick. I also like the hooded creature. Cool stuff Jimi.

Now, for what exactly were you using them?.

I'm using them for my school end work...

I made a cape (modified the cloak) for the commando woman (which will make her elite), also abandoned the hood, since it looked silly :P

Those do look cool, I prefer the normal cloaked one to the one with the hood..unless theres no gravity on its world.

I've been texturing the cloaked one. Testing couple various colours. Some knob, strings and basic lining done. *shades*

Those look pretty good, although they look pretty strange from the front since you can't see their legs. Also, the knots look a bit flat. But other than that, they're great.

I think the legs will be more shown when it's moving, even if looking it from the front side.

People have been suggesting me to shorten the neck and my subconsciousness has done it too... So I shortened it 12cm.

I think the exposed coils won't be exposed really, they will be inside a transparent anti electronic shield, so you don't electrocute yourself, if you accidently touch the coils, when they're charged.

I sort of thought that, but don't know about that yet. The tongue will be able to stretch... though this one's a player character, so you don't know if the tongue is out or not, unless playing multiplayer game or using 3rd person camera and someway getting it spin in front of the character.

It's kinda strange how it reminds me of Quake 2 laser pistol, sinceI got inspiration for it from Gunman Chronicles energy pistol... Maybe it's just that orange in it.

Yea, I thougth so and the other two characters will be enemies. I first thought they would all be player characters and then you can select one of them. I think the others will be available in deathmatch game as player characters and maybe bonus characters for singleplayer game when you have completed the game first.. they will have some different qualities and skills than this cloaked character.

Very cool! The only one that looks bad is the running animation. I think that it shouldn't be aiming with the pistol while running. The rest are very nice!

Yea, you're right. I think I'll make the arms swivel more and it trying to aim the weapon with one hand in same sort of way as in jumping and kicking animations. I made it the way it's now, because I wanted it not to look strange if it shoots something the same time it runs.

I've done some more animations to it.. now 50% complete on the right handed pistol animations. Now it's not holding both hands in the pistol when it's running, but it tries to keep the weapon aimed forward with one hand.

I decided it needed some improvements... Fingers are longer, legs and torso are shaped a bit differently and there are some other polygon flow improvements and removed some un-useful polygons...

It'll look better when it's animated... then it'll keep the mouth more shut and only opens when it's screaming... :D

Someway I just don't like the way the brown change into the turquise in the front... I'll also change the location of the buttons in the GUI thing...

What's an actual noid? I just call these noids, because humanoids sound stupid...

The torquise doesn't really fit with the rest of the weapon color. All of the mare to washed out, if you ask me (except the red, maybe). But nice job on the models.

The new weapon design is cool. I liked the previous grenade/ammo clip (I'm not sure which) better, though. Also, the hairy noid looks strange. The drawing looks nice, though.

Now the hairy noid is almost completely textured. Texture resolutions: 1024*1024 body, 128*64 eyes and 256*256 hair. I'll do some fine details and fixes tomorrow...

I got inspired from some goat skull photos my brother showed me, so I gave it some horns...

Well, they're hermaphrodites, because I've been too lazy to do both male and female versions.. but I'm not too lazy to add tail and make some alternative looking horns. These horns start more from the sides of the head and are more straight. They would allow me to design some helmets much easier.

I got the inspiration for it from Phoenix Staff ;) But yea, the end result is more like the Hellstaff, same with behaviour I think or maybe a bit both, it does make some heat and electro magnetic explosions, it shoots at fast rate of fire and alternate fire mode would do some flamethrower kind of effect...
