Ahoi my fellow newdoomers!
The main theme of this (and probably the next few issues) is that I need some helpers here. Please do remember that you do not need to really join or bind yourself to reviewing. You can just review wads whenever you feel like it. Read this (http://forums.newdoom.com/showthread.php?t=33779) and get on it. ;)
In other news, I'm ready for your barrage of insults regarding these new reviews. Bring it on.

Sorry! Saturday marks the beginning of a camping week, so no reviews unless some helpful souls come and instead of writing the occasional "wad of the day" story write to Newdoom Reviews. ;)

Enjoy the camping weekend and don't shoot to many things with the old spud launcher.. ;)

and on a lighter note, Vilecore 2 is turning into Mordeth 2. Actually the two project leaders just announced that they were going to merge the two projects together and call it Viledeth 2 (and hope no one notices that there is no Viledeth 1). They project is hoped to be released sometime around 2013. Of course because of the merge many of the maps have had to be scrapped to make room for the 32 best. Also the whole project has decided to switch ports to Doom95. This will help insure low detail in the maps and hopefully lead to a quicker release.

Thanks for the Inner Crypts review, Fatal. I've noticed my maps tend to be quite short and don't have much in the way of texture variation, heh. If my mapper's block ever ends, I'll see what I can do about it.

They decided to just use the forums. Less work that way since they don't have a lot of help with the whole thing.

If my mapper's block ever ends, I'll see what I can do about it.You also have a cool dual plasma shooting marine in a couple of your maps. I don't think I played Inner Crypts yet but Vacuity was pretty fun.

Thanks for that...
Demons of problematique was amazing...
I wasn't bugged by the demons teleporting in. The end boss fights were amazing and a little outrageous, LOL.
Why couldn't id have made such awesome hell levels back in the day. Their tech levels were fun but the hell levels were a bit plain...
