Okay, a thread for a map... I just wanted to make sure that PumpkinSmasher sees this thread and marks Map21 as "complete".
As far as I know the segs are within the limits (32600), the map works, is playable and has no bugs. I say "as far as I know" because after fiddling with the map for hours takes a lot of effort to playtest it completely... In the process of deleting the segments a lot of stuff has been lost, including a puzzle (that was annoying) and some details. After playing the map I think that the difference is minimal and for the better but well, this version will be the "official" one.
Anyway, as soon as the pre-beta test is done I will give the map to PS so we can put a link to it and make it playable to everybody in the team. I´ve already sent it to a couple of people to see if they can spot problems but will surely make it available for the NDCP2 team tomorrow (once I play through it).
Oh, also, there´s something I´d like to do with the map once it´s available. See, I´m not good at taking screenshots of my own maps (I don´t want to take the most plain places but I don´t want to take pictures of anything that looks good so I don´t feel like I am bragging about the map). For the my other map I asked Dutch Devil to take the screens while playing and I think that I will extend that petition to everybody in the team: once the map is ready for you, could you please take some screenies?. You can easily upload them to imageshack and once they´re done I think I will be able to choose a balanced combination of them that reflects the map.
That said, stay tuned, link coming tomorrow and another map for the project done :).
