Well you have little to worry about if your being shipped out, especially if your being shipped to hangar 41. Hangar 41 maybe full of enemies to shoot, bite, and claw the hell out of you, but at least its better than Phobos right, RIGHT? Indeed you do have little to worry about, with a very simplistic design, you should have no problem with navigation until you realize that your have no clues to lead you around to your next point of progression. The horrible mix of inaccurate textures could throw you off course as to where you really are, not to mention the horrible misalignments, but hey this is 1994, maps were probably lucky to be this nice.
This map has you running across the base like a errand boy on his first delivery day, constantly hitting this switch which opens a door somewhere completely out of the way in another part of the base. The only thing that gives you a since of direction are the gracious doom element, the keys, yes the keys are your only hope within this level to be able to understand the correct direction to go so you can hit another switch and be lost again.
Take your doom difficulty and simplify it about a 100 times and you have this level, filled with shotgun guys and zombies, with its hardest hitter being an imp, but don't be fooled even these monsters come in short supply, had this level been a bit more difficult, it could have savored a bit more great gameplay. The level didn't suffer a complete lost of action though, as you progressed through the non-since of a base, you begin to see that once visited area are plush with monsters once again. This type of action keeps you from getting too board as you run back and forth thought the unmatching corridors.
This map does have certain interesting facts about it as well, not too say the map is just a horrible mosh pit of bad things. Some of the rooms are very interestingly shaped as is the steps of doom that seem to be huge in comparison with the average player, yet the level does contain its sanity with no real errors that make it unplayable. I still believe that this level can be cut from your to play list with out too much hesitation, unless your just dying to be lost in a uac base with no end in sight.
