First of all, this wad fulfilled my expectations. It surpassed the first wad on every department, and that's always a good sign, telling of the author's improvement.

The map takes place in a space station, and to my enjoyment there were places which really resembled something. There was a bar, a reactor core, a hangar and many other kinds of rooms which were quite easily identifiable. The map mostly consists of hallways and then some smaller corridors branching from them. Unfortunately the map is rather linear, but as there is some key hunting involved, it isn't exactly a tube either. It's an enjoyable design, and windows showing other parts of the space station give a nice feeling to the map overall.

Like the author's first wad, this one's pretty easy, and mostly you will be meeting shotgunners and imps except for the couple of last areas. While it takes away the challenge, it was nice to roam around the station without a worry of being killed in some hideous trap. The monsters are usually stacked in groups, although some lone wolves are also found in the station. There's plenty of ammunition and plenty of health, it's a good map for beginners. I found it way too easy.

This wad looked really cool. There were interesting machinery and other stuff all around the level. The down side is that none of the textures were aligned. Also the lack of proper lighting (and shadowing) was a bit dull looking. With a space station level shadows and bright lights could've been used to create some nice contrast in some places. The level holds to the theme exceptionally well. At no point I had to ask myself the question "Is this thing really supposed to be in a space station?" It seems as every room was thought and designed before actually made.

I don't have much else to say about this wad. It's really neat, although the lacking texture alignments and overall easiness is really something that the author should fix in the future. Nevertheless, I'm certainly looking forward to fort 3, the author seems to get better with every map he makes.

Cool:
-Very consistent theme
-Much stuff to look at
-Good level design

Boo:
-Missing texture alignment
-Too easy
-Lacking proper lighting and shadows

That's what happens to folks who don't pay for their booze around here.

Looks like the hangar doors are open. Luckily there's some magic barrier blocking the air from rushing out.
