Never not completed episode was made by Vasek "Damned" Havranek back in 1996 and it shows with little detail and very simplistic gameplay. It does however explore new possibilities, in the form of originality of design. Traveling through three levels, all seem to be designed to be bases, with each one looking a little better designed then the one before. Overall this wad is worth running through once but lacks elements that make today's doom levels so interesting.
==============
Layout - 4
==============
The layout of these levels sometimes feels as if your playing wolfenstein all over again. Ceiling heights range from right over the players head to ceiling you can't even see with mouselook. There isn't too much detail you will find laying around, but the detail you do see is rather decent. You will see detail such as broken parts of pillars, dirt sticking out of walls, and a rather nice looking trick on map 2 dealing with the icon of sin. Other than that the layout of the levels is pretty basic, dealing with a lot of small rooms, giving the player a uncomfortable, space constraining room to deal battle in.
=============
GamePlay - 4
=============
The levels are pretty basic as gameplay is concerned. Getting weapons and keys while surviving hellspawn is what you must endure to win. The difference between level now and 96 levels is that the detail obstacles were far less advanced, But this wad pulls through leaving you with some cool tricks you don't see everyday, like platforms when crossing nukage, and the twisting paths down to the other side of the rooms. You can tell that the author definitely got more advanced as you progress to the third level. GamePlay is very simplistic, don't expect to see too many new things.
===============
Originality - 4
===============
The author still had originality when it came to level design. Detail is still in low supply but the over all design of the levels has a different feel that your classic brand of doom. The third level was pretty much the main supply of originality giving you a nice twisting path of doom.
===============
OverAll - 4 - A wad worth a quick run, probably won't be played more than once.
===============
+ Gameplay has its moments.
+ Gives a different setting to explore.
- Could afford to have bigger rooms.
- Not much detail.
