To start with, I´d say that this is an old, action packed, quite linear wad. Just what you´d expect from an old Doom2 file. As it is, it won´t clearly stand out from the rest but it has its highlights. If I was to describe this wad I´d say it´s nothing more than a shooting gallery. Though the teleporter at the beginning may make you think it´s not, as you have played some minutes through it you´ll come to see that all you have to do is to smash more than 200 monsters as you go through repetitive stone corridors. Expect no detail, expect no surprises and expect no ambushes, just loads of frontal encounters with an increasing number of monsters each time... Depending on your skill this could be easy or damn hard. Just try and guess ;).

Deep into the map you may find some things that may resemble to the first experiments on line triggers, like floors moving down and lights going down with no apparent reason (leaving you looking for a door in absolute darkness)that add a little depth to the map, but not more than that. A fun thing I found when playing was some experiment with barrels (nothing special though, just piles of them lined up) that proved to be quite fun to blow up killing several monsters on their way... Anyway, I´d say that this things are, as said, experiments from the author with no real value in the gameplay wich it´s, with exceptions like the barrels or some mass encounters (use your rocket launcher, please), repetitive.
Architectural and lighting wise this map can´t offer much: there are little light variations, some height variations with little sense here and there and a lot of strange angled walls. In some parts you will find sections of the map offering a view to other sections and such, with gives a certain sense of planning and a primitive idea of architecture that helps the map resemble to a prison, but, again, it goes no further than that since no prison would be comprised of narrow passageways only... What could be done to improve this wad?. Obviosly, it´s a little too late to talk about that. Isn´t it?.

Finally, some fun things I found on this wad were the completely lack of armor (at least when playing in UV) and the map being on Doom2 Map10 instead of Doom E2M2 as the text file claims (no possible mistake since there is a double barreled shotgunt there).
To sum up, this is not exacly an "Avoid" wad: I played through it and had just the amount of fun to be expected from a "shooting gallery" wad. I will rate it 5 over 10 since it´s the average wad I could play and have fun some years ago.

"Action packed... You won´t expect the queue of shotgunners behind that window!".

"Some mass encounters you´ll have near the beginning".
