I recorded myself playing the Jungle theme from Contra. It's a bit messy as I don't have the best sound recording equipment. I have my guitar plugged into my amp which is plugged into my effects pedal which has a cord going out of the headphone jack and plugs into the line in of my sound card. During the beginning fast part thingy it goes to just the right speaker and I don't know why and I haven't bothered to fix it. I also didn't record this in one go. There are 17 (I think) different tracks I recorded so the transitions on a few parts aren't perfect.
Aside from all of that, I think it sounds pretty good. Tell me what you think :)
