Just to make sure things stay up to date, here's another thread. Keep this thread for progress reporting only, keep other discussion in other threads. Please reply to this thread so we know you are still working on your maps.

We have 11 completed maps, so lets work hard at getting the rest of the maps completed.

Also at this point you might as well pray that you get the conglom back at all. I am working on it though. I swear! :p

If you could get to me by the end of the month, I would appreciate it, but don't rush yourself on it.

BTW: Map19 is still listed as free, I have started a map that is probably at 15%. I'm just not sure it fits into that slot too well. So for now I'll keep my map as a back-up.

Will do. My motivation seems slightly higher now (though it still comes with a side of ADD :p), so it shouldn't take THAT long.

I was actually considering claiming the free slot until I fell into this motivational slump... but after all this I think I'm going to leave it be before I end up torturing myself again. NO MORE TEAM MAPPING EVER. ACK.

I don't see why you shouldn't take that slot though (and you could always switch with someone else's spot if they don't mind, to make it fit better), seeing as you haven't had a map of your own for this project. You're the project leader, after all! Honestly! :p

I realize I haven't done much work on it yet. It's still at 35% due to assignments. But there will be no more this week or next week, so I'm free to map now. Might have it done sometime next week, I honestly don't know.

I am most certain that a screenshot of my work has been posted at some point.

Besides, screenshots are overrated.

Oh then I have missed that screenshot :( of course screens doesn't tell you how the map plays but it sure is nice to look at :)

finished fixing my maps. will send soon.
EDIT: Ok, I started trying to fix the dehacked patch. It seems that zdoom really handles the dehacked patches diff than prboom/legacy.
As far as the monster actions, they seem to work fine left as they are, any slower and they are no real challenge.
The player screams worked best with the "gun turret" marine clone, though in Zdoom, it WILL NOT work for some reason, which is annoying.
pro's about zdoom:
the gun clips do not fall out of the "kamikazee demon".
con's:
the sounds I picked out won't work in Zdoom.
Since the ports handle things differently, I believe I will use generic zombie sounds for the turret guy, and fix the lit sprites for the "kami-demon".
So, I should be sending all of this stuff in soon. Any input-let me know now for the monsters, I plan on finishing that tonight.

Map30 released for tests.
I doesn't finish the ammo replacements yet, but, is possible to play and finish the Map.

@jet: The new baphomet idea looks nice, but what was your plan for the clear area behind the brain, it may cause HOM if left as is. and by 'may' i mean 'will'.

oh, heh, thats just a thumbnail! the brain would actually be john remero, there would be a sector behind that. also, that was a 2 second jobby-i do however have the whole brain animation done-it was originally going to be used in atmosphere.
I actually have 2 animations for it, it may even be possible to make it pulsate.meh, just another idea i guess.
edit: anyone up for another conglom map?
edit: was bored and made part of a map with the resource.looks like a nice one. I would consider doing map 20 if nobody else is interested,for the sake of getting this stuff done-at the very least its a backup map.

Still around 30-35%. I need to approach this differently, I think... right now I have some big open areas I'm not sure what I want to do with, yet. <_> Also, finals coming up in a month or so, ugh...

I'd prefer to have someone new or someone with just 1 map take slot 20, but I guess if that doesn't happen then your map could fit in there well.

Been a while since I've updated but I had to restart my map :(. I didn't really like the way it was coming out. So I'm at about 20%. Shouldn't take me long.

40% I spent most of today at school planning out my map XD. I just have to finish mapping it, then add enemies and health, and I'm finished :D

Hey, good news. I just counted and I only have 11 + (a few extraneous rooms that I want to add) left to detail on my map 02.... then I can finally get the beast populated with things and get it Beta form! w00t!!
But on that other map... oh boy... Well Ill get er dun as soon as Macroly possible...*dark* But only if you all want to wait :)

Res 8 is still the most recent. I'll try to get a new one going soon, but finals are nearing for me, so I need to focus on school atm.

Kay, I have some textures. Should I just give you the textures? Or put them in a wad? I haven't put them in my new map as of yet. Probably will soon if I want to keep a castle themed map.

BTW, what map is going to be warping to mine? I'd like to know so I can set the beginning up right and the ending.

Lets see....not too much progress at the moment, school is killing me with assignments. I'd say I've gone from 25% to.....28% I think. I'm trying to find some time to map and I'm pretty sure this weekend I'd be able to get my maps up to 50% at least.
