Setting infinite ammo?

Hi,

My father and I play Doom 2 through Legacy on the Network (IPX). But after playing online with ZDaemon with friends, I learnt about Infinite Ammo. How do you turn that on in a Legacy multiplayer game?

Friends have tried to come up with ideas and so far I've tried:

In the "additional commands":
-rcon infinite ammo_on
- rcon infinite_ammo on
-infinite_ammo on

In the console (~ key drop down):
-rcon infinite ammo_on
-infinite ammo_on
-rcon infinite_ammo on
-infinite_ammo on

None of these have woked, but I'd like to get this working because we're playing against green cacodemons and we need to keep our plasmas longer than 80 ammo points.

In v1.42 there is no console command to get infinite ammo.
In v2.0, I have no clue, the devs will have to answer.
The only workaround I can think of is to load up a .deh that
increases the max ammo to something insane like 100000. No way to get truly infinite
ammo, afaik, since ammo type 5 (normally infinite ammo) is changed to crossbow type ammo in Legacy.

btw, what mod has green cacos?
