I don't know how it's working for you guys, I see definite improvements though, but how bout the sound and music, I hear soundfx and most are gargled or cut off to soon, and no music. For you dev guys, I'm running winxp and have onboard 5.1 surround. though I only have it running 2 channel stereo to a Pioneer surround amp. and heh, It kicks it out! to say the least ;) My drivers are up to date and my sound is rock'n on everything else. I'm just wondering how is L2's sound on Linux?
rofl is my SDL_sound pipe to small? or is there a switch I can turn on in Legacy 2
somewhere? or does something need done before it's compiled?
*cheers*

I'm experiencing exactly the same problem, just to let you know it may not be your system.

Flawless since chippo discovered why the MIDI wasn't working. Both sound and music should work. Are you sure you have SDL_mixer 1.2.7?
You can get the dll (binary) here: http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_mixer/release/SDL_mixer-1.2.7-win32.zip

I just unzipped the contents of that file into my Legacy 2 alpha folder, and I still hear the glitchy sounds and no music.

Yeah I actually tried that the other day, but now I see why, no SDL_mixer handler?
