I'm working on writing a song. Right now I only have one riff that I really like.
My riffle (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QSIE3M21)

I have some other riffs I'm working with but I don't think they fit well with this one.

Tell me what you think of this so far. (I know I messed up a little bit at the end so stoofoo)

I'll post back with some more recordings when I write something that fits.

[edit]There is a little bit of static but thats because of (from what I can see) the damned air port about 10 miles away from my house. It causes me so many problems :(

That riff is pretty cool, it'd be good as some sort of bridge section after a chorus or something..it'd sound even better harmonised I recon *harmonises it to see what it sounds like* :D

Yeah actually, that is a pretty cool riff man ;)
Being a drummer, I could imagine some quick double bass and snare/splash pauses to go with, and then go into something else.

Sounds like the beginning of an opening to a Rock'n song man.. Keep up the good work.*bang*

Timing, dude. I'm counting fours along with it, and the timing is terrible. It is impossible for a drummer, or other musicians really, to predict what to do for the riff, as it has no time signature and structure.

Work on that.

Then, work on no relying purely on power chords. Then you ought to be in business. Good luck, Tyler.
