very nice, the dead Marine, and Big skull are very impressive, look almost like 3d models, instead of the flat wall paper appearance of the originals...

Yes, I second that. The only thing I don't like is the flame effect in the top right picture. Also the blue in the bottom left looks a bit weird.

They look pretty good. The big skull switch in particular.
But I think Fatal's right; the blue is a little odd.

Perhaps the blue is a blue key switch?

That doesn't make it look less weird. Maybe just a square border around the skull instead?

Wow...those are looking great. I'll agree that the blue does look a bit odd.

Thanks everyone :D
Actually I didn't know myself what the blue was in the original texture so I just tried to recreate that.. It's the texture used at the first switch in Final Doom: TNT - Evilution Map30 (the switch that raises the walkway from the lava to the door switch). Maybe anyone else have an idea what it might be?

Nice stuff FreeLanZer ;)
I like the skullswitch and corpse gib ones too.
I like all 4 textures, but if you were to do anything with the current other 2?
The other 2 window type textures might look better if the center image was set back a bit giving it them a 3d look. Like if you were to look in the window, the blue or fire skull would look like a wall set back in an enclosed room. Though I guess in that case, this effect could be done in map editing as well. Drop shadowing could have a similar effect.

Fucking brutal, dude. Are you going to release a hi-res pack for Doomsday or anything?

Kick-ass! Nice job! The blue looks fine by me, although the skull (on the blue) looks like it's floating infront of the texture

I would like to thank DaniJ666 for teaching me how to finish it.

What would go well with that is a graphic of just the brick texture. That way mappers could create areas with the main brick, and intersperse it with the body/blood graphic above.

I thought Doom 2 had such texture? If this is the case, just make sure that they look the same, as having two different brick types when they're supposed to look the same may not be very wanted.

The problem is that the stock DooM2 texture is not hi-res, whereas FreeLanzer's graphic is. [Plus, I believe D2 the brick color & texture are different.] So even if there was a matching D2 texture it would not look good together with the hi-res version.

Yes, but the goal of the project is to make all the textures hi-res.
However, if the other texture has other colours and stuff, then combining these can become problematic.
