I recently downloaded the Doom64 TC and ran it according to the instructions (unpack, copy Doom2.wad, doubleclick the Absolution.exe file). It works, but there's no status bar on the bottom of the screen. There's a line of bumps at the bottom of the screen that looks like it might be the top of the status bar, but that's all. I bound keys for increasing and decreasing the statusbar, but they don't do anything.

Decreasing the screen size has no effect. Increasing the screen size by one step causes icons for health, ammo and armor to appear along with a text counter for each one, the same as it does in normal Doomsday, along with a slight, but noticeable shift in the vertical screen position. Decrease the screen again and I'm left with no HUD/statusbar at all.

Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Yes, you assume Doom64 HAS a statusbar, which it does not.

Ok. I thought that might be the case, but it just seemed strange that the default screen size has no HUD at all.

Yeah, all it shows (as far as I know) is health %, armor %, what keys you have, and how much ammo you have for whatever weapon you're using. Kinda sucks. I like to know how much ammo I have for everything so i can decide what gun to switch to when I run out of my current weapon's ammo.
