Yeah as I the title suggests, here is some random "Doom" themed artwork by yours truly. Been a fan of Doom for some time now and heres the pictures...

A picture of me and a friend in the doom environment, no purpose for it really.

Some 3D generated crap by me...I'm going to go back and touch up that mesh some day.

A parody for the Ghostbusters "Doom" wad...I'm not afraid of no...Demons?

http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b51/sonicblaster59/gbg2.jpg

Last but not least, the chainsaw used in Doom I and Doom II. Not really art, but it's a "work" of art...runs great, leaks oil...

And thats about it for the moment, I might post some more later. Enjoy.

Teh Sandman.

I'm not going to lie to you. That 3D render of the BFG? It looks...

AWESOME! :D

As does the rest of this stuff. I wouldn't mind seeing more, either.

Looks great. Although, the bfg seems a bit boxy though.

Still, great work.

Thanks for all the positive comments! As for the BFG model...I only had two sprites to go by...

this and this...

And I too think it's alittle "boxy", but like I said above...someday I will get back to the mesh and fix everything. And here is a quick render of that model in action.

The above BFg model serves two purposes...one it can be used in games as a high rez model when fully tweaked and fixed. But also I plan to make blueprints of this gun to make in real life. How cool would it be to have a 1:1 scale BFG sitting on the coffee table in the living room?

I plan on doing this to all the guns of "classic" doom, and I plan on building them. I'm a Amateur prop builder and would love this new challenge. Here is some of my work on "other" franchises...

I built most of the gear you see there and that is me. Maybe by next halloween I can go as a "Doom Marine"? Who knows what the future my bring. And to wrap it up...some more random art by me, not necessarily doom related...but cool nonetheless.

Really, that's great stuff. Nice variety and all. Well done!

You may be intrested in jdoom resource pack. It has modelled all the doom weapons. DaniJ666 (found on these forums, he's around the doomsdayHQ subforum) is someone who you should ask about it.

I thought the bottom bot was a terminator. Looks pretty snazzy.

That ghostbusters costume is cool. *kewl*

Yeah, I've PMed a few people about the 3D models thing but I think it just may take some time before I get some hard answers. I've only worked with 3D Studio Max and don't think the jdoom resource pack has original 3D files in which I can import into 3D Studio Max and mod from. If those sweet models CAN be imported into 3D Studio Max, that can save me some rendering time for my other projects.

But until then, I've got a list of things to make in 3D and the BFG is the only one marked off that said list.

And yes, the bottom bot is a character from the Judge Dredd movies. ABC warrior vs. Robocop was the theme and ABC won.

Awesome Awesome stuff ;)

You know the new Legacy2 when ready, supports md3.
I would be nice to have models in Legacy for a change, specially nice looking ones like all the above. :)
Great work man.
