So, I suppose the "object behind textures with cyan holes" bug will be fixed in legacy 2.0. so this would mean all of my wads that take advantage of this bug need to be fixed?....

i mean, say a grate texture, with slits cut into it, in GL mode, if i were to say, place a lamp inside a sector using the grate as the midtexture, the lamp becomes invisible, though doom legacy will still render the corona.

Hard to say until corona's get put into opengl, but I think thats just how 1.4x renders them, instead of having a black boarder around some transparencies, it will render the boarder as transparent in the process leaving the sprite behind it not so visible.
We'l just have to wait until the corona's get put in legacy2 opengl to know for sure I think.
There should be a different effect though if you switch your texture filter. trilinear sorta messes with sprites a bit. try bilinear see if that helps.
