Stupid Crooks in Toronto

This happened just yesterday. I saw it on last night's news.

A pair of druggies (a black man, and white woman) broke into a man's home in Toronto yesterday, tied him up, and demanded cash. After a number of hours, with the crooks taking a few drug hits in the mean time, the victim suggested to the couple that they seemed a bit tired and should lie down for a nap. This is exactly what they did. They settled down and went to sleep. The man then escaped from his bonds and called the police. The police arrived and arrested the sleeping couple.

The funniest thing was looking at the tape of them being taken away. The man kept sitting down and falling back to sleep!

Yes. It used to be that you only heard about ultra stupid crooks like the in the US, Britain, and some northern Europoen countries. Now Cananda shows that we can take on the world in the much loved dumb crooks category.

Hehe, that's too good. It reminds me of some horrible things that have been happening around my area, though, which unfortunatley isn't too terribly funny. I don't know if it's made any national news, but Around Mesa/Tempe Arizona, there are two unidentified men going about, one sniping people from buildings, the other raping and killing women. I've never really thought too much of crime in my neighborhood / city, but this has been an eye opener... sort of reminds me of the Son of Sam inncident.

Yep. The now-infamous "Baseline Rapist", named after a nearby road. Hopefully he'll get stoned, fall asleep, and be quickly arrested. He's got everybody scared shitless to leave their homes after dark.

i usually live in places where people break in. its usually around 11pm. the thing is i work late nights so i always catch them. its the same thing every time...knock knock.....smash smahs smash...."who the hell are you?"...then they run away...
