Also the resource wad has recieved a major update. There are many, many new additions so check them out.

Also if you would like screenshots of your map posted on the website, please post up to 3 screens of your map in this thread. Host them with imageshack (http://www.imageshack.us).

The resource wad wasn't password protected when I opened it; Is this as intended?

Excuse my abrasiveness, but what the fuck is with all these textures that look like they should be sprites? Mechanical arms? Statues?

I know shot 2's a repeat, but at least it's not pitch-black this time.

I think it's the only way to make such decoration, as replacing the sprites would be frowned upon.

That is true. I just can't help but think if someone used them in a map they'd clearly look like cardboard standups, and they don't follow you around or have any other graphics to make them have the illusion of being 3D. But if jetflock makes them work, more power to him, I suppose.

i made them look good for what they are used for. I'm not too sure they were all ready to be added to the resource though.
i could upload what i have so far so you see where i am going. The "arms" are intended for a plasma rifle assembly line.
Don't worry, everything has a purpose.

Nice to know. I was just somewhat surprised when I saw them in the resource wad, but I ended up thinking you obviously have a good idea for how you're going to put them to good use or they wouldn't be in there :)

It's only in a secret spot anyway. One that may not be obvious to many.

Oh get over it. What does it matter to you anyway, especially if its going to be in a hidden spot? I know a lot of map makers who put jokes in hidden spots.

Who cares what someone else is doing with his map just concentrate on your own work, if Jetflock likes it im cool with that its his map he can do what he want with it.
