Quite good; an interesting "Entryway" remake.
I found the near-conclusion of the map to be quite difficult. I did not find a method of opening the door for the rocket launcher either. Perhaps I missed something, or perhaps it is a problem with ZDoom (I figure the first option).
The creative use of an abundance of tech textures composes an interesting sight to behold. I thought the office desks/chairs were well done too.
The one complaint I have is the amount of lighting present. I had to switch viewing modes on my moniter to see what was going on in the exit room.

Nice map I did find the rocket launcher by pressing on one of those detailed computer screens.
The map layout was quite interesting aswell and the music was not my kind of taste.
Good map I liked it :)

lol. you can access the rocket launcher via one of the desks. thats all i can say.
everything had to fit in a 1024/1024 square. I playtested all the effects in the map.
i thought the midi kinda fit the map since both are "smallish", and i like referencing Blaster Master.
EDIT: The wad is made for ports using GL, with no light diminishing. Though I find it playable in software, I prefer the lighting of these kind of ports.

The only gripe I had with it was that no matter what I did, there was always one monster unkilled (I did find the secret), despite looking up and down through the whole map (even noclipping to the outside area) to find it. :/
Good map though.

There's a baron that teleports in, but as far as I can tell this requires a Boom special of some sort (I haven't checked what, but with Boom compat - in Prboom-plus - it teleports in, but with vanilla compat it doesn't).

The baron teleported in fine (using ZDoom). Got both of the lost souls in the secret area, got the revenant, got the imps out at the back of the entrance, and got all the monsters in between, but still I'm missing one... very strange.

Now this would be an idea for a contest: Make your own map01 remake. I still have mine laying around, so if anyone's interested to start such a project, I'm in :p

The baron teleported in fine (using ZDoom). Got both of the lost souls in the secret area, got the revenant, got the imps out at the back of the entrance, and got all the monsters in between, but still I'm missing one... very strange.Well if the baron isn't the problem, then I'd guess you might be missing the little room with an imp and some health. It's fairly near the exit, and isn't a secret (it probably should be really).

It should be a secret indeed. It looks to me like the area from the original with the stimpack and the two imps behind a wall, and that was a secret area.

meh. i haven't played this in a while, but i "swear" i get 100% kills. check the bathroom, kill the revenant. i think i put lost souls in the rocket room.
