Hey everyone, as some of you may know, I have a development team working on a remake of the Doom movie. We're remaking it partly because most of my team thought it sucked; others just want to see another story living on. So far, our amount of work to completion is little to nothing, mostly because our team isn't big enough, if anyone would like to help email me at tiberiam9@comcast.net.
(This takes place shortly after RoE)
The marine began to run from the newly created devil Betruger (was once human), Betruger then tried to eat the marine alive in order to stun him to get what he wanted, the Artifact. As the marine lay uncoincious for moments at a time, he regains coinciousness and see's he is pinned down and there isn't much he can do to save himself. So he does the only thing he could think of, shoving the Artifact right into Betruger's mouth, the effect seemed to take place immdiatly, Betruger began to fade away leaving only his skull. The nameless marine died from bleeding seconds after.
"Welcome back marine, your home."
The marine went to heaven and hell seemed to fade away into the abyss. The Soul Cube which was forced back to hell's use was free from its prison in eternal damnation in hell forever. It escaped because there was no devil current to set boundrys for the realm of the damned and the realm of the living. It made its way back to the Mars ruins. The ancient civilzation was its home. It lay in the temples of the ancients quietly going idiol and motionless. But, one question to bring up, where did the artifact go? Betruger left only his skull. Betruger's whole purpose of being created was to get the Artifact, the reason why he traded his whole life for hell. And he furfilled that purpose, with a complete job done, his life force was transfered to resurrect another, Naggafin. Now Naggafin had the Artifact fueling his devil soul, keeping him alive. Hell was once again to rule, with realities changed and faces of new devils coming about. Naggafin, a soverign of all devils was once again to rule. Ever since the ancients had render him dead, or so they thought. He was creating hell's reality in his vision now, and would soon find a way to destroy the boundry between realms, taking any chance he could find.
Ten years later... The UAC had found countless unexplained phenomenon through out the UAC base, with no evidence of what happened, they continued to rebuild their base. Everything seemed okay after all. All systems had detected nothing dangerous besides its own defense systems, which it disabled soon after the arrival of the UAC. Rebuilding the base on Mars, the origional Doom 3 marine (we are calling him Eric) was reassigned to the UAC. As a survivor from hell's attacks itself, he had doubts about going back. But it was an offer he just couldn't refuse, maybe the whole incident was over, for good. After all, the UAC did reassure him a completely renewed safety and security system. It was literally impossible to destroy the base there. With the weapons the UAC had. And with the discovery of the Soul Cube in the ancient temples, knowning Eric had made contact with this life form, they needed him most to help communitcate with it.
"You, we know you. We are the many, the one, the defeator of hell itself. You freed us from our eternal prison. We owe a great debt to you..." They (Soul Cube) said.
"(Still need to come up with Eric's lines)"
With the chat from Eric, the Soul Cube would let its secrets out for weapons of war. Though reluctantly it did so, thinking maybe they could change. And with the new information, the UAC was able to create a weapon unparalled to anyother in exsistence, not even the Soul Cube itself could make and equal to a weapon of such power. This weapon of unforgivingly destructive power was code named, Chaos SFG 12k. SFG standing for Soul Force Gun. A gun with power to take the life of souls from around it using synthetic friend or foe technology of the user. This was by far the most advanced weapon design in the universe itself, this weapon had the capability to defy physics, and bend the rules.
Though, also in the Delta labs, the UAC were experimenting with teleportation again, linking realms of exsistence, using hyper space for methods. It seemed enter worlds were built of theory through this equation. Including hell... Because of this equational falwe, of course hell breaks lose somehow again. Anyway, thats what we have so far, by the time hell breaks lose it should beabout 45 minutes into the movie. I'm thinking of having a little preview of how the MP will play too on YouTube pretty soon, when you see the video I bet you'll think something like, holy heck a lot has changed, this MP looks kickass! But actually, we've hardly even started building on to the MP. In the vid you should see melee moves, melee timing battles (goes in 3rd person and you hit a certain combo of random buttons in a matter of time, either one or the other wins, if you get a falwless button combo you do an instant death kill, breaking the neck, cracking a rib into the heart, ripping an eyeball out, head slams against the floor/walls. Some other damaging moves are breaking a bone, or ripping out some limbs), transformations (certain amounts of kills gain you to a certain class, each with different weapons, eventually if you get 25 falwless kills without dieing once, you become Naggafin himself.), flips, an improved melee system, and the characters look like they are actually having a realistic movements (instead of that dumb looking run with the legs in the origional).

I should have a 3D model of Naggafin and some other concepts in a couple months. Because first I need to learn OpenGL so I can modify the VFP and make it render awesomely. And maybe even a couple music videos done by that time too (I hope)...
