Hi. This thread is for people to post the lineups of what is, in their opinion, the most awesomely awesome band ever. Here's a quick rules thing:

The band must have members of three or more bands.

There must be at least two guitarists (max 4), a singer or two, a bassist, and a drummer. All other instruments are optional.

This is not restricted to the living.

You must supply a possible name.

OK, so here's my lineup:

Guitarists: Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), John Petrucci (Dream Theater), Jimi Hendrix
Bass: Steve Harris (Iron Maiden)
Keyboards: John Lord (Deep Purple)
Drums: Neil Peart (RUSH)
Vocals: Elvis Presley and me (Chainsaw Repbulic)
Violin: Miri Ben-Ari

Possible Name: "Browser Tabs"

:::::::::

The one Iron Maiden song I don't much care for is "Bring Your Daughter to the Slaughter".

Hey, one of these two could be the best band ever:

1. Guitarists: Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden) , Jimi Hendrix, and Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom)
Bass: Steve Harris (Iron Maiden)
Drums: Daniel Svensson (In Flames)
Vocals: Anders Friden (In Flames)

Possible Name: "Somniferum Death"

2. Guitarists: Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), John Petrucci (Dream Theater)
Bass: Geddy Lee (RUSH)
Keyboards: John Lord (Deep Purple)
Drums: Neil Peart (RUSH)
Vocals: Elvis Presley

Possible name: Browser Tabs

Right. I have a feeling I'd probably rather listen to the second band, but they're still both a mish-mash of people that probably wouldn't do that well together (Elvis Presley? WTF?)

Here's my dream band:

Guitars: Jason Becker (Cacophony), Marty Friedman (Megadeth, Cacophony), Alexi Laiho (CoB)
Bass: Cliff Burton (Metallica) [RIP]
Drums: Hellhammer (Mayhem)
Keys: Janne Warman (CoB), or Jens Johansson (Stratovarius)
Vocals: Vintersorg (Borknagar) and Dead (Mayhem) [RIP]

No idea what they should be called, though.

and me (Chainsaw Repbulic)

Dyslexia much?

Why does there have to be a minimum of two guitarists? There are plenty of good bands out there with only one guitarist. Six Feet Under comes to mind.

Anyway, here's mine from the other thread.

Guitars: Jason Becker (Cacophony), Marty Friedman (Megadeth, Cacophony), Alexi Laiho (CoB)
Bass: Cliff Burton (Metallica) [RIP]
Drums: Hellhammer (Mayhem)
Keys: Janne Warman (CoB), or Jens Johansson (Stratovarius)
Vocals: Vintersorg (Borknagar) and Dead (Mayhem) [RIP]

Possible name: "Metal Kingdom"?

Dyslexia much? I don't get it.

And "Metal Kingdom" is a pretty lame name.

It depends. If you´re gonna slay that dragon with your +10 Power of the Steel Sword so you can rescue the princess in distress it pretty much works :).

I'm bad at coming up with band names, so fuck you. :P

And I said "dyslexia much" because I assume you meant "Republic" and not "Repbulic"

Mikael Amott: Lead Guitarist (Arch Enemy)

Mikael Akerfeldt: Vocals/ 2nd Lead (Opeth)

Pat O'Brian: Rhythm/3rd Lead (Nevermore)

Mike Portnoy: Drummer (Dream Theater)

Alex Webster: Bass (Cannibal Corpse)

A gathering of very talented members from my favorite bands, they will range in melodic, death and a new sound that will possibly come from the combinations of these people. They could have breakdowns like Opeth but they won't always be acoustic. And the name is "Black Sun". Please rate!
