Hi would I be able to request someone make a map for me?
I don't have access to any working map editors

I need it to look like this
http://jfiles.org/map.jpg
one of the 2sided linedefs with the tag 10001 and the other with 10002
a Pain elemental in the middle and player one in on of those sectors please

Thankyou

What the f...

Surely there is some editor you can use? Even Mac has Hellmaker, and despite its hellish bugginess it never actually eats your map like DoomBuilder does.

Besides, it is impossible for someone to make a map for you, for two reasons: one, it is nearly impossible for them to visualize exactly what you are. And two, unless you're actually contributing something in return, it technically shouldn't even be yours, but rather their work, whether they're credited or not.

Hm... the only one Doomworld has listed is Yadex (http://w3.teaser.fr/~amajorel/yadex/). Not sure how capable it is (or if you have come across it already), but something is better than nothing.

If it doesn't help any, at least it's good to see you're working on some part of it then. Custom Pain Elemental of some kind I take it?

Before you download it, Yadex is based on VERY outdated and clumsy code; namely, DEU. Go with SLADE. Or even SLIGE. ;)

Those are available for Linux? Because last I checked neither are, actually. Unless the download/info pages lie to me, just like the voices in my head. :p

Heheh, the only people online at the time I posted this were me, you and Simon. Very coincidental.

Then why do I have both of them on my Linux computer? In .tar.gz, decompiled format?

What the hell? The SLADE Linux port is gone. Odd, that.

EDIT: I figured out that I have an earlier release and the Linux port has since been removed.
