Ok, I've been having some serious trouble with recording videos on my pc, I use FRAPS but it slows my FPS to under 10 when I try to record Doom, if this aint' the right way, someone please tell me how to record DEMOS. If I do get the videos recorded, I just get big files that are way to big to put anywhere. If I try to compress them, they look HORRIBLE.

You may find my post here (http://www.doomworld.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=546372#post546372) useful.

There are ways then to convert demos into video clips if you really want to, but the only real benefit is that they can then be watched by people who don't own a copy of the Doom games. The conversion is messy and results in a massively larger file, with far few options for playback.

Easy stuff dark,

OK use FRAPS or an other fast grabber to record your demo ( you need of course an fast PC ).
Then use virtualdub and the divx codec to compress the video file.

10 seconds video file is +- 2.5 MB

With the divx codec, you get an good result and an small file, and this format is very popular for the web.

Edit : I make an little demo of doomdragon 30 seconds / 7.8 MB

You must have divx decoder installed on your computer or quick time.
Media player use the decoder if it is installed.
