Of course there's honour among thieves! (at least the good ones) Don't you play Morrowind or Oblivion? ;)
The guy really does need to be re-educated about all the burglery but he certainly did the right thing with the memory stick.

Sure there is. People who go to prison for crimes against children tend not to live very long in those places. From what I've heard, there's all kinds of people in there for all kinds of terrible and violent crimes, but no one cares--except if somebody harmed a child, molested a child, or killed a child, or whatever against a child. Such people don't have any "friends" at all in there, which is an inherently dangerous situation. They end up putting up with the worst shit from everyone until somebody just kills 'em. Serves them right, I'd agree. They're the worst kind of monsters there are (save for abortionists, who do even worse than that by murdering babies).

Well not in the conventional sense, no. It's that particular kind of "honor" that is termed, not "honor", but "honor among thieves". It's not exactly the same as regular (real) honor, but their own "code".
