I threw this site together in about 20 mins. just so i could upload my wad files.

http://uk.geocities.com/m.a.powell@btinternet.com/index.html

Any feedback (positive or negative) would be helpful as I have never created a web page before.

You would think with my initials I would be able to pump wad files out, left, right and centre. http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/3811/lmao8ss.gif

Sure Dork... Forgeave me *laugh*
The desingne of your page can be improved if you take care with the tables...
The most of cases, the table border is "0", a images like BG, and stuffs...
Choice a good font for your texts. Verdana is a good font... *thumbs*

Hey DD (heh another DD) looks pretty basic from my point of view, I don't know jack about designing websites myself.
Maybe one day I make myself one but I doubt that will ever happen, ah well its time to dig up those tutorials that are lying here.

At least its not annoying to look at keep working on it im sure it will turn out nicely.

USe a wysiwyg editor (I recomend http://nvu.com). you will get a much better looking page with the talent you have. Also dont use tables or center everything in the middle of the page

I think is because you have your screen resolution set to 1152x864 or 1280x1024 Hans

USe a wysiwyg editor

wysiwyg editors are all well and good, in fact I do have one (Serif WebPlus 9) but, I wanted to learn HTML coding and so I use CoffeeCup HTML Editor.

No they are not.

Well instead of coffeecup html editor i would recomend notepad++
This page will help you learn. http://w3schools.com
Also make sure you learn css else learning html/xhtml ain't worth crap
