Compusa5 by unknown author. For Doom2.exe
Singleplayer, coop, deathmatch. 1 map.

Reviewed by Fatal. Score 4

Even though the wad starts nicely, towards the end it turns out to be just a huge shootout, without anything to give to the player. If you want to kill many monsters, then you may want to try this wad, but if you don't, clear away from it.

Zeh by Jeremy Zeh. For Doom2.exe.
Single-player, Co-op, Deathmatch. 1 map.

Reviewed by Rusty Slacker. Score : 4.0

Jeremy Zeh's "Zeh.wad" will be remembered for two things. The first is the newbie-esque architecture accompanied by surprisingly solid gameplay. The second is the incredibly uninspired title, but only the first point will be covered in this review.

Underhalls by Doom_Dude. For Doom Legacy.
Single player. Cooperative and Deathmatch(not tested). 1 map.

A remake for a classic Doom 2 map, it´s worth a trip down the memory lane to those happy days but, as the original map, it´s short enough to never completely catch your attention and, ultimately, you end up thinking it could have been better. Also, as the original map, it has fun, straight gameplay reminding of the originals and the new details and small touches help you recreate a classic feeling. It´s worth as a curiosity but with a couple of extra coats of paint it would have been great.

Chemical Engineering Department by Lorenzo Davia. For Doom2.exe.
Singleplayer. 1 map.

Here it is the Chemical Engineering Department, after a quick inspection, not only have they failed with all safety inspections, half of the crew got lost looking for the keys. If there is anybody that plays this wad you are pretty much guaranteed to have the same symptoms, of going insane from music as well as the butchered gameplay but when your not pointing out its negativity, you can spot its little bit of a good side with nicely placed consoles and little bit of uniqueness in each room you enter. This wad deserves a 3 out of 10.

Aboo by Bob Reganess. For Doom2.exe.
Single Player and Deathmatch. 4 maps.
[Txt] (ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/pc/games/idgames/levels/doom2/a-c/aboo4.txt)

Reviewed by AlysiumX. Score : 5

Aboo4 is a mapset by Bob Reganess. Although the level was made in 95 it still has some very interesting layouts. There won't be very much detail laying about and there is no monster balance, but what this wad doesn't do gets made up for what it does. This set features some nice tricks by editing the maps reject source. Sometimes even old wads can teach us something new as these features and yet to have been seen in most wads that come out now a days. This wad deserves a 5 out of 10.

GOGOMAP by Kurt Dillard. For Doom2.exe.
Single Player, Cooperative, and Deathmatch. 1 map.
[Txt] (ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/pc/games/idgames/levels/doom2/g-i/gogomap.txt)

Reviewed by AlysiumX. Score : 3

Gogomap is a level made by Kurt Dillard who worked at Go Go studios. This map is actually design after the floor plans of his work(big surprise) and although he may have plenty of room to play around at work, there is little room for error amongst the halls of this go go map. There is not too much offered by this level and it should definitely be ranked as a definite skip. This level earns a 3 out of 10.

Office Building Deathmatch II by Stan Spielbusch. For Doom2.exe.
Single Player, Cooperative, and Deathmatch. 1 map.
[Txt] (ftp://ftp.fu-berlin.de/pc/games/idgames/levels/doom2/d-f/dm2off.txt)

Reviewed by AlysiumX. Score : 3

Office2 is a map made by Stan Spielbusch. Although it was made with a general theme of a company, it features some very wide open spaces. The layout doesn't have too much content as it takes place in a square building and only a little outside area to escape to. However, I would stay outside for two long in dealing with cyberdemons and spiderdemons. Overall you may continue to be sane if you skip this level, not too much you would miss. This level gets a 3 out of 10.

ARENA_D2 by Daniel Griffiths. For Doom2.exe.
Single Player, Cooperative, and Deathmatch. 1 map.
[Txt]

Reviewed by AlysiumX. Score : 5

Arena_d2 was made by Daniel Griffiths and he has graced us with a very awesome level indeed especially for a 95 level. The layout itself is pure genius with a tunnel like theme leading into a huge open center area. Gameplay was also enhanced by the great layout design such as things like 30 second doors to help escape from attackers and various liquids that drain to get access to open areas. Overall this wad would be and idea candidate to play for some great fun. This level gets a 5 out of 10

Hell's Twisted Influence: Episode #2 by Andrew "Ninja_of_DooM" Fernie. For Zdoom.
Single Player. 1 maps.

A recently released ZDoom wad that makes use of many of the ZDoom´s features and can provide with fun to a certain audience. It has many positive aspects like an inspired mood, nice Unreal music, boss battles or some work on cutscenes or the title screen... But it also has many negative points, like careless monster placing, predictable layout and, ultimately, a much too "torment and torture" inspired look that lacks personality. The overall experience can be fun during a first run but doesn´t scream for a second look.
