I made this topic to avoid spam and look for someone want work on this project with me ... *thumbs*
All my questions will be posted here *rolleyes*
OK... Lets go !!!
The maps will be EXTREMLY detailed, in Doom 3 style.
There will be a lot of inspiration becoming from Doom 3: metal, electric cable textures, everything that makes a great UAC base in Mars.
To remember, the maps must be compatible with Doom Legacy, the port that the maps will be designed for.

The maps will fit into a serie of 6 maps, with the Doom game end at the final of the sixth map, altered via Fraggle Script.
There will be some DeHackEd changes, to make new enemies and alter a few.

The main history of the wad is about two marines, from the searching hostages forces that had received a help message from Mars
and are obligated to kill the last monsters from the base.
But they will discover that the monsters came from a new portal.
The history will be a sequel to the Ultimate Doom History,
that will have the two marines looking for a screen watching the invasion of the Earth (the main Doom 2 history).
A lot of things to do alone *ohmy* but... coming soon !!!

Yes he does. :) And sorry but graphics have never been my forte'. Never usually use custom textures.

Hehe... Sorry by my misstake *rofl*
I need very mush slopes to finish some last details of the map01.
I test the Alpha3 so many times but, i really wan't release LOS for beta versions, like DooMAD said in another post. *angry*

That's what I wondered. Somehow, I don't think Line of Sight covers it (LoS). :)
We all want 2.0 but things have been slower lately. Hurdler has a real job (good one too ;)) and can't do a huge amount for it. Pate has been helping though.

Or using textures with transparency on the flats... *cry*

Not exactly a invisible floor... But, a 100% transparent 3D Floor with transparents textures ( in few areas ) on the flat... Like the MIDGRATE for example... *confused*

Ahhh... Impossible, Alpha translucency or whatever that´s called (you know, cyan colour on textures) is not possible yet in Legacy. I don´t know if it will be added in some point ´cos I think that it would be hell to render in software mode (???)... The only choices I can think of right now are to manually create a 3d floor resembling a grate (prepare to eat a lot of segments!)or an invisible 3d floor with some texture work beaming (err... The only example I can think right now is Map19 of NDCP... Guess who made it :P)... For NDCP2 I managed to get a effect resembling a grate with those using very short textures (2 pixels high). This is how it looks in software mode (ZDoom screenshot):

Anyway, Logan, this project is looking really mighty fine!!!!. About slopes, you could try using some angled rail texture. I think there was some of them in the same NDCP map mentioned, in case you want to take look at them.

I can't find no one perfect texture for my "Slope" *ugh*

No problem dude, I can provide you with that very same texture in case you´re interested... Keep in mind that while it will look fine in software mode, the effect can be spoiled in openGL if the player looks all the way down (I wish there was a limit you can setup on the angle the players can look).
As for the perfect sloped texture... By looking at your screenshot I think that DooMAD could have the texture you need in his NDCP2 map: an angled railing. You can go into the NDCP2 forums (here, in newdoom too) and check his screenshots. If you ask him it´s possible that he´ll hand these textures to you... Or in case you don´t think it could work you can always create them yourself or, in an extreme case, ask for help to any texture amateur like me ;).

By looking at your screenshot I think that DooMAD could have the texture you need in his NDCP2 map: an angled railing.

You'll probably need to edit the angled ones a bit, your steps look like they might be 8 units in width instead of 16 like the ones I've been using.

I used to have a FraggleScript for player falling damage. Although it's not really ideal for doing that, it works.
