Fucking sweet. I've had the idea to do this for a long time, but never had the resources to do it.

I think Robert Prince would be very proud of you guys :)

I need to find a way to have these play on the appropriate levels while I play the game. That would be sick.

Just right click the songs then save as, then open up the wad of the Doom game you want to have the songs with XWE, then rename those remixes to the orignals in the game, then insert them into the wad, deleing the old ones, then save as a new wad then it should be perfect.

MP3 files != MIDI files

You obviously didn't listen to their stuff. It's all recorded analog with real guitars and drums (and, from the sound of it, a little bit of drum machine effects and some keyboards and synth). It's really well done.

I believe you can use MP3s with Doomsday, but I haven't figured it out. Though, I haven't tried very hard. I'm happy that I can actually run Doomsday now with my new computer :)

All guitars part are real, and bass too, the drum is a drummachine (except the Sonic Clang stuff, sonic play the drum real), and all synth played with a keyboards

I've tryed to make something different for the arrangements adding new riffs and bridge

My equipment is, an ESp ltd guitars mh 200 with EMG pickup, and another ESp stephen Carpenter design 7 strings, an Ibanez bass 5 strings and a keyboard USB Midi cotntroller, and for record guitar and bass I use a V amp connected to my M audio delta 66 sound card.

Any way, anyone are interested in this project and is able to record is welcome :)

I would love to have my stuff on there. I wasn't extremely impressed with your rendition of E3M8, so I think I may try to top yours ;D I'll have to get a hold of my friend Travis, who has the equipment (and the guitar skills) to record. I may get in touch with you.

By the way, your drum machine sounds really good. I'm a drummer myself, and honestly couldn't tell that a lot of it wasn't real :)

By the way, you need to decrease the size of the picture in your sig. The rules (http://forums.newdoom.com/showthread.php?t=11812) state it must be no larger than 400 x 100. :)

Damn! Let me say your group's music is tight! I'll love to hear more of them (I imagine if there would be a vocalist in some of them, crazy you think?)

eheh for vocals u need to wait the next update of the site, I'm on making e1m1 woth growl vocals and music in death/trash metal style

by the way I don't have a band :(, because is hard to search someone intereted to the vicdeogames music.

I've another band out of games, we make brutal death metal, I'm the guitarist and vocalist (but I'm able only in growl vocals, in clean vocals I suck ;))

Oh that's aaaaaaallriiiiiiggggggggghhhhhhhhhttttttttt!!!! Well I was about to edit hat that part our didn't noticed that you were online :) I liked the E1M1 with the strings doing like.....I can't explain it; it's hard to. But I can whistle though, really good at it.[FOR A GUY WHO PLAYS THE BANDURIA & OCTAVINA AT SCHOOL{and i'm not good at playing those either} I SUCK AT EVEN TRANSLATING A PIECE TO THE SOFA SYLABLE!]

EDIT: Well, Neurological if you won't mind...do you know some music remakes for Wolfenstein 3d? And I signed into your site's guestbook!

Got the files working in Doomsday. They're great music for the game. My only problem is that the introduction for the Intermistress is too long. I love the song, but have to wait almost a minute for the good stuff to start. :)

I need to get some good, high-quality models and some better sounds, and I'll be set. :)

For wolf 3d, I know only one remake made by a guy named Mazedude, the song remaked is the music menĂ¹ recalled Nazist Requiem.

U find it on the site of www.ocremix.org

But when I finish all DooM 2 soundtrack I try to make something of wolf 3d

Oh my! That's pretty great stuff! I found that many of them were too short compared to the originals though. Ah well, time to call the studio! ;)

Hey neurological, I'm downloading your E2M1 rendition and I'll edit after I hear it.

EDIT: Not bad. It's a little too distorted for me. I like your version of MAP01 better than E2M1.

Hehe. You already heard my in-depth opinion over at those other forums. Your stuff is awesome in regards to the original music, but Neuro took a lot more artistic license with them and I think did a really good job. ;D
