NDCP 2 TITLEPIC concept

Here's an idea for a TITLEPIC for NDCP 2. I'd love some comments from you guys.

By the looks of it, I have a feeling it won't look nice once it gets Doom palleted... but I'm still to test it.

I really like this. It's intense and gets the point across very nicely. It's too bad we aren't doing this for JDoom with hi-rez textures.

I got that downgrabbed, and as of now it will be used as the title pic for the NDCP. I resized it and tested it, and it looks perfect with the Doom Pallet.

Also Falci, if you woulnd't mind, could you create a title graphic for the NDCP 2 webpage that I could use. Maybe in a similar style as the title pic.

I'm having ideas for the title graphic you're asking... I'll try to build it later.

How large should it be? 800xsomething? Or 1024xsomething?

I had the idea of using map layouts in the background, im not much of an artist myself.
Would look cool I think seeing some maps from the project members in the background.

I second Dutch´s words :). It would be nice to have some map designs "carved" in the background flames and rotated a little. Maybe the design for the first map or for some NDCP map.

I admit it would look nice on the empty spaces of the bigger banner... but It wouldn't fit the smaller one well.

And I do belive the bigger one is a bit too big...

I like the concepts Falci. I agree that the larger one may be too big for the site, but I like the smaller one. I'll use it unless you plan on adding anything to it like these people suggest.

The only thing that can possibily be added to the smaller one is a border... and I didn't really plan any.
