Yup, it's the real deal, I designed the website and it may be my last. My editor developed the habit of crashing my computer horrible. I'll just be groovin' along and *CLICK* screen goes black, computer is dead. :P

So who coded this up and who runs it?
And for that matter what editor are you using? Sounds like a shit editor if it's taking out your comp. :p

Rellik travels 100s of light years to reach us with his advanced technology, but he uses a WYSIWYG editor for web pages? I guess web development didn't fit in the scheme of his people's evolution. =P

I was really happy when I heard about this, it has been so long since DC died and it's great to be playing online again but this free service seems to still attract many imature kids who don't know a damn thing and it is so hard to get a game going with thier stumbling around.
I'm on there from time to time under the same name as here "Zane" if you are a serious player, know how to config a port properly and know how to use Player Connector please PM me or add me as a buddy so we can kill some demons*thumbs*

you may thank me later for finding this, lol, na its because st online is going down is that this appeared, but so far the best port for this is doom legacy, since skulltag is not configured into it yet
na, im not making fun of legacy, in fact, im helping it :)
if you having any problems, Pm me

Heh, the reason PageMill (my editor) crashes is because I had to install IE6 in order to install Player Connector. IE6 layed waste to a bunch of stuff, if I ever meet Bill Gates I'm gonna punch him in the mouth. :P FYI, editors like PageMill are great because they are wicked fast, I can design a site in 1/10th the time a person could in notepad. Besides, everything I do is Dead Simple. Using FrontPage for that would be like getting a GF6800 to play Legacy in software mode... :P
Of course I had to nuke a whole bunch of stuff to get my computer straightened out which means I can't actually use Player Connector. Bah.

Win98 owns, or rather it's the only OS I own. :-p I'll get XP when I build a new computer this summer.

Blech, don't get XP. If you want to ruin a computer, wait for Vista.

Nothing wrong with XP pro - you can tweak it enough to feel like 2k. Don't go near Vista if you can help it. See if you can obtain 2k..somehow. It's like the most unbloated NT os out there, I highly recommend.

Yeah xp isn't bad, but is a little boated..
yeah I agree 2k is the way to go, specially if your switching from 98 and your use to that.

I'd like to do battle with any of you sometime though we'd need to set up a time since most of you are in a different time zone to me. I'm Osiris on Player Connector.
And I'm a desent player. I've played Doom since I was four.

Yes its true Player Connector supports alot of the doom, hexen and heretic ports, and we have other users writing new dll's for new ports aswell like Gzdoom witch is now done. but our main gole is to offer the other games aswell, like quake 2 and 3, wolf ET and sof 2. I hope to get more on, but right now we are working on the website and code in the client of PC. I was going to change the look from the old DC to somthing ells, but the forum and function of it realy dose its job. so i kept it as is.. why fix it? If it isn't broke?... Well there is alot of code to change and some bugs, but its comming along. I hope all enjoy it as much as I do. Keep Fraggen People!
