Woo! I am having fun making wallpapers, even though I am so busy. I made one of a beautiful landscape and a metroid one.
The metroid one was so big that I needed to resize it. The background is some spaceship from... I don't know but I found it online.
Metroid One: (Resized to 640x480)

Make sure that Michael J Hardy doesn't steal it and sell it to people for $19.95!

Those are excellent! My friend (a massive metroid fan) would really like them!
btw if you saved them as jpeg you could have had them in massive resolutions!
Loving the lense flair on samus' gun :D

Thank you very much! :) Some of your pictures are excellent! It already is 200 dpi, and it is in PNG, I think. Can you tell me about these "massive resolutions"? I used GIMP and MS paint.
The image took a lot of tolerance of me, as I needed to edit all the AA on the edges of Samus's alpha channel, as it made a funny white line around it. I had to blur them out. What turned out really nicely was the alpha on Samus. If you look, she is slightly transparent in some areas. Also, the lighting is perfect. The shine on the armor and the shadows on the spaceship in accordance to the "supernova" effect. Also the blowing effect on the word "Samus". And yes, the big blast cannon.
Just so you know, I made this as a gift surprise for my sister for Christmas. She likes Samus.
BTW, feel free to use the wallpaper as long as you credit me. Harry, you are an experienced image editor. I am sure I can't do half the things you do. Can you tell me how to like, "inlay" my name into the image, so that nobody can steal it. I know some web sites do it. So do you.
And here's another one for yeh: http://img202.imageshack.us/my.php?image=mannan3xa.png
Thanks.

I use photoshop for my work, to put like a watermark on it I just add some text, set the fill opacity to 0%, then on blending options I enable Bevel/emboss, simple as that! :)
I suppose you could program php to do that for images in a website, but I have no idea how to do that.

I am planning on starting one with a Zora from zelda for my other sister.
Ok, it's completed two days before christmas!
Here is metroid reposted because I deleted the other one:

And here is the Zora one: BTW, this took a LOT of work on my behalf because if the blending stuff and all that convolving and shadowing was not there it would look like "HECK"! Heck means "" in German, as you know. The original images are found of the www (the background is a screenshot from far cry :D) . And, all of these wallpapers are 1600x1200 on by comp, so resized these so imageshack can host it.

And, here is one I made for my father featuring Buckethead, one of the greatest and most unique guitarists to ever live.

There is also one that I kind of did for the hay of it.

Did anyone look at them yet?
