well, i know what you are thinking ... ya right... lol -- im back this time -- off and on perhaps -- but im back, i have successfully exausted my urge to play lame games... and now well am back in action--- im trying to remember what catsy told me about making new dynamig lights, but i cant remember, and i also cant find the thread.

anyway... my goal is to release a novelty map -- that shows the full potential of dynamic lighting in jdoom -- i mean -- 0 sector light .. all dynamic.. yes it is memory intensive... but if u disable the new models-- it makes it a bit better, aside from that usual problem of sprites from above... lol it looks funny... *burn*

edit: well.. currently i am working on a prefab for the first map -- its a generic lightpost -- using a dynamic light -- i have re considered the fact that d-light takes up a lot of memory -- and i tested how much would make my comp slow down-- i counted up to 24 d-lights IN VIEW with no framerate cut -- after that it takes off roughly 1-5 fps, so i have decided to use my dynamic lights in areas where it would make a cosmetic difference -- and for colored lights... since you cant really do this with just sector lighting... heh anyway... i will be releasing my first map within a month -- mark my words :D
