Howdy how all review readers out there!

This week turned out pretty nicely. We have 7 reviews this time. I don't have much to say here, except that our team is working really well. Nice going gang!

This week our hero was AlysiumX, with a great number of four reviews!

Here (http://reviews.newdoom.com/reviews/ndr002.shtml) you can read the full reviews if you can't be arsed to read the stubby versions.

The Ultimate Doom Forever (http://reviews.newdoom.com/reviews/ndr002.shtml#The_Ultimate_Doom_Forever) by Jetflock.
For Doom Legacy (OpenGl renderer).
Single Player (Coop and DM also supported). 6 maps.

A six level set for Doom Legacy wich has been in development for a long time and, finally, has been released with a satisfactory result. The Ultimate Doom Forever is both simple and complex, new and familiar but, overall, it´s surprising and fun. Each of the levels has an engaging gameplay and splendid environments that will lead you trough different situations until the final battle. It´s not different from any other Doom wad when it comes to play but, at the same time, it´s completely different, atmospheric and refreshing.

Simplicity (http://reviews.newdoom.com/reviews/ndr002.shtml#Simplicity) by Agent Spork.
For Zdoom
Single Player and Cooperative. 21 maps.

A wad, which starts out very promising, but towards the end turns out to be just full of difficult and unfair battles. Its good visuals don't really save it from its lacking gameplay.

11th Hour Stauf's Wad (http://reviews.newdoom.com/reviews/ndr002.shtml#11th_Hour_Staufs_Wad_Doom.exe) by Mitch Feldman
For Doom.exe. DM, Co-Op, Single Player 1 map
Reviewed by Crash OverRide Score: 4
[txt] (ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pc/games/idgames/levels/doom/s-u/stauf.txt)

A reproduction(albeit not a very glitch free one) of Stauf's mansion from the Trilobyte games.....made by the actual head programmer of those games. It is average for DM, but Co-Op and Single Player might not be worth the play through.

11th Hour Stauf Wad (http://reviews.newdoom.com/reviews/ndr002.shtml#11th_Hour_Stauf_Wad) by Mitch Feldman.
For Doom2.exe
Made For Deathmatch, Singleplayer and Cooperative enabled. 1 map.

STAUF2 is a mansion style deathmatch for doom 2 made by Mitch Feldman. The level focuses very deeply on secrets for ambush in deathmatch, but isn't much of a play for single player. The music is very nicely chosen and gives the mansion that lobby ambience. Gameplay was obiously reservered for deathmatch as playing in single player leaves the player confused and fustrated. Overall, i believe this level will be play a couple times to discover all the secrets

Never not completed episode (http://reviews.newdoom.com/reviews/ndr002.shtml#Never_not_completed_episode) by Vasek "Damned" Havranek.
For Doom2.exe
Single Player. 3 Maps.
[txt] (ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pc/games/idgames/levels/doom2/m-o/notcompl.txt)
Reviewed by AlysiumX. Score : 4

Never not completed episode was made by Vasek "Damned" Havranek back in 1996 and it shows with little detail and very simplistic gameplay. It does however explore new possibilities, in the form of originality of design. Traveling through three levels, all seem to be designed to be bases, with each one looking a little better designed then the one before. Overall this wad is worth running through once but lacks elements that make today's doom levels so interesting.

Jetflock's texture contest entry (http://reviews.newdoom.com/reviews/ndr002.shtml#Jetflocks_texture_contest_entry) by Jetflock.
Doom Legacy (OpenGL renderer)
Single Player, Cooperative, & Deathmatch. 1 map.
[txt] (ftp://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pc/games/idgames/levels/doom2/Ports/j-l/jettex.txt)
Reviewed by AlysiumX. Score 7.5:

This wad was for a contest that Jetflock entered. The layout is perfect for the amount of space allowed in the contest. The music was nice, but seem to be a bit off the theme when nearing about mid song. The gameplay was sharp and gives you a break from the classic doom style found in a lot of wads. Jetflock went all out when it came to detail, concentrating on just about every part of the level, he gave it a very balanced feel. Overall it would be safe to say, you wouldn't be disappointed running through this level a couple of times over.

Dark7 Mission Pack1 (http://reviews.newdoom.com/reviews/ndr002.shtml#Dark7) by
bryant robinson.
For ZDoom 2.0.63a or higher.
PRIMARY GAMEPLAY SP, CO-OP. 7 maps

Dark 7 is a set of levels by Brian Robinson. The game has very good layouts and follows it quake 2 theme nicely. Indoor layouts keep you interested as well as outdoor detail. It has nice music, but can have some part where it becomes repetitive. Gameplay is fun, but overpowering weapons make the game not very challenging. The game has some very original points to it in dealing with a new story, new sounds, and fun puzzles. Overall, Dark 7 has some really fun moments, its environments will keep you coming back, and playing some more.
