I'm listening to Fear of the dark again, since I don't usually take interest in music until I listen to it a second time. Even with albums I considered mediocre (like Youthanaisia, and Cryptic writings by MegaDeth), if I listen to it a few times I eventually learn to love it. I don't get it.

EDIT: I've come to the conclusion that FOTD isn't a bad album, just very generic. Definatley the worst album with Bruce though, as Rusty said.

Well yeah, but don't bad albums generally only have two decent songs at the most? I mean when I think of bad, I think of Risk and St. Anger. FOTD had a handful of great songs, and the rest were just meh. Not bad, just meh. Bad albums generally have a handful of meh songs and the rest just suck.

But whatever, personal preference. There's a lot of people that think No prayer is a bad album too, and I disagree with them as well.

The Paul Di'anno albums were good, but I never quite got into them. Charlotte the Harlot was a great song though.
Expirimentation is good as long as they don't go too far (*Cough* Load/Reload *Cough*). A matter of life and death was a great album, but I did notice that three of the songs used exactly the same chord combination (at different tempos), and another three songs did the same thing with another part. Whether this was intentional or not is beyond me, but I don't think they've ever done that before. (Although the intro to The clairvoyant is nearly identical to a part from Rime of the ancient mariner, so I guess that's not true)

I'm a bit Christianity-ed out right now, I was at school in a church all day, so I need a nice offending song right now. There's fething Jesus propoganda everywhere I look! And then I was asked if I wanted to join a stupid youth group, completely despite the fact that I'm anti-religious. Don't you just love how churches can find loopholes to get money from the goverment by renting out rooms to schools?

I hear ya. My school is overwhelmingly populated by devout Christians and I don't particlarly appreciate the youth group invitations either. When I get one of them in my face inviting me to join up, I don't bother with manners. >.>
