That good? I've heard a bit from Pain of Salvation, and liked what I heard. Actually, only one song--A Trace of Blood. The intro is awesome, but most of the rest of the song is kind of unnerving, mostly because of the weird time signature, and I don't so much care for the vocalist. I can definitely hear the Dream Theater influences, though.

They´re pretty good but they´re not a band you can get easy satisfaction from hearing... They usually deal with very touching topics and their music is very complex, unnerving and personal... I´ve followed and admired them for a long time but it´s hard for me to listen to a complete album (except for this "Be", wich is almost a no-metal album) without getting tired or just lost... I would say that this band is completely out of the Progressive Metal scene as they´re something completely different.

Anyway, if you have a chance to see the "Be" live video production you´ll understand what I mean. How´s job hunting doing, BTW?.

Rock 'n' Roll band was in 75. Haha. They were an interesting group. They released their first and only cd after the band split up. Last year they performed a "reunion gig". Too bad I missed it.
