DooM Legacy Wallpaper/Graphic

I made an interesting picture featuring the Doom Legacy logo. I used paint.exe and some other image editors for this. I was wondering if the legacy team could use it at all. Well, here it is:

I always wondered about what´s legal and what´s not in the so-called "Fan works". What if I made a new game with this Curtis Trent from the latest Tomb Raider game as a fan work (just to say a character)??. When would it be legal and when not?.

Uh... im not sure but if you do, I dont think its illegal if it : requires the original game you started it from and if you don't sell it. If you want to sell it you need the permission. At least its something like that.

When it comes to fan stuff you just never know. Some companies will let you do damn near anything you want, others are complete nazi's about thier assets

And when it comes to the trademarks/logos about this.
Maybe should add a fine print that says "all Doomlegacy likenesses or logos are trademarks of Doomlegacy, Doom likenesses or logos are registered trademarks of id software ". something like that.:)
Not that it should make a difference, hell you just drew a legacy fan picture, if anything..the legacy team should like that :)

I think the legacy team should use those logos that we stole from Micha-- I mean the logos that you guys made. They can use them for version 2.0
