Hi.
I haven´t really had the opportunity to test something in the alpha (mainly ´cos it refuses to load my custom wads) and it´s about how much sounds are able to be played simultaneously.
I v1.42 sounds are likely to be chopped or not to sound where is too much stuff sounding on the game (sometimes you even fire your gun and nothing happens). This is quite inconvenient when you´re using ambient sounds so, will that happen in v2.0 too?.
Also, I think that a possible future addition would be things related to sound like, for example, being able to define the volume of a sound played in a script (adding one more parameter to the functions) or having a linedef type that will shield player from sounds at the other side in a variable amount (for example, that line with a value of 255 (in some argument) could be that nothing will be heard behind the line and 0 would be that it fully let´s the sound pass. Something like 120 would attenuate the effect).
I hope to find an answer to the questions and that you like the suggestions.
