Hi!.

I´ve started doing some graphic editing in a very light fashion (using mostly paint.net, wich is not precisely the best program available). As a result of this I´m in need of a program that can automatically chop an image in equal smaller images (of course, I should set the size), as if I was making a puzzle.

I can do that with paint.net but it´s rather slow. Do you know of any small utility that does this work?.

Thanks.

I found a program... My two cents: "Pictureclip" at http://www.iron-fe-works.com/graphics.asp .
It works, still, it creates a soft border in the right and bottom, just as all programs seem to do when saving a cropped image.

You could try TheGimp http://www.gimp.org/ free graphics program which offers the same functions at Photoshop.

Yeah, but last time I downloaded it would refuse to run. Everything is pretty unstable on that terms when it comes to windows xp.

Download and install the two setup files on this page.
http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html

I had no issue running these on XP.
