doom builder

I am having trouble with doom builder, I have been using it fine , but lately I just installed a game that required directx 9 , so I installed it, but now ever since I installed that I can not go into 3d editing mode, does anyone else have that problem? If you do and you fixed it plz tell me, without 3d editing I am hopeless. Help!

enter the Doom Builder configuration (push F5), click on the 3d mode tab, and set it up according to what your machine needs.

i think that the problem is that your machine is not fully directX 9 compatible. you should downgrade it to 8.1, which your machine should be compatible.

My guess is your using an old non DX9 compatible video driver.

With DB 1.67 you can use windowed 3D mode which will run without the trouble of setting up your video card to run it. That's what I use.

You can do that with 1.66 as well - what i use :)
