So how hard is DooM3 Mapping anyway. My freind has DooM3 and ive seen the editor and i would figure it out if i had a comp that could play DooM3. But how hard is it really. Hows the learning curve when it comes to learning the Editor. Im thinking about getting a new comp just for DooM3 Editing cause the one i use now works just fine for DooM 2 editing :) and the newest game i can really play on it is Quake 3 and i still get Vid Card lag occasonaly.

I'd guess that once you get the hang of it and master the hotkeys and such, it'll be just time consuming. Creating all the details doom 3 map needs.

It's really no different than Quake3 editing maybe a bit easyer but like Fatal was saying its pretty time consuming. the lighting and textures and getting them to work right with one another is the tricky part. to make things look like they should.
If you cant run Doom3 on your comp yet" , you might try quake3 editing for now to get use to the editing.
