EDIT: but they aint the most annoying. Those bloody Archies are...fun tho as well...I like finding one thats got lotsa little monsters around it, so it can keep ressurecting them!

Also, I've come to hate those HW Dudes who spray you to death like the game is on nightmare mode, especially in Plutonia, Hell Revealed and other deadly mega wads.

Yeah those imps are like that, more so in doom 3 (lol, they always try to jump at you).
Actually what i hate about old doom monsters is the zombies. You get a room full of pissy former humans and it only takes one or two rockets to clear them out.
Oh and i still sometimes jump when i hear a cyberdemon coming up behind me and i have like 10 shotgun ammo and a fist and i stuck in a little room...
