I'm am currently starting to have some issues with my Doom 3 game. It started happening all of a sudden, and never happened earlier. I used to be able to play for hours at a time and not have a single problem. Now, after 30 minutes of playing (not just in certain parts of the game), the game starts to get all choppy, and I have to exit and restart it. The game runs smooth as can be though before it happens, so I'm pretty sure my PC meets the required specs.

Since it started happening, I downloaded the newest drivers just to make sure, but it still occurs. If anybody has any info on how to stop the sudden choppiness, that would be great.

PC Specs:
2.66ghz Intel Pentium 4
1.5gb DDR Ram
ATI Radeon x800 series

I am running Windows XP. I am thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling to see if that fixes any issues also. It's just a weird issue that started to occur all of a sudden, and have no idea why. =O

Yes, those are the issues of the worst kind. It's bloody hard to find the problem causer.

It's good to know someone else has experienced what it is I am talking about. Thanks for the post, I will give it a shot and see if it helps.
