I'm starting this TC for Ultimate doom but I'm not really good at making levels. What i'm trying to ask is would anyone like to put together any levels and help out. I just decided out the blue really to start a tc and all I have right now is a new status bar and Font text but I plan on taking it further than this. So if somebody understands this plea for help than answer it.

Hmm ...

Creating a 32-map Doom TC in accordance to most people's idea of good-to-decent level design is a tremendous (and rarely achieved) task. It is difficult to establish a team unless you first have some work credited to you.

Have you thought up a story? What do you have in mind for level design? Will it use a source port? If so, which one? What will make your TC different than others? There are a lot of things you need to think about first. If you can answer all of these questions and show me some concrete first steps, then perhaps I shall help you with a level.

Teh new project tag is needed

Before you being asking for help you should present us with what you have...such as a title, a story, what port you are using, a theme for the TC, what kind of level design, and graphics and such that you have already worked on, possibly and example level of sorts. Just asking without providing any of this info will get you no where. Also as you have not been around here before, people don't know you, and are less likely to join your team. If you have a history with doom and people can see some of your work, you are more likely to attract people. Start off thinking up exactly what you want, provide everything you can towards it, and then people may feel the urge to help your cause.

Erm, this might sound like a n00bish question, but what does "TC" mean?

Total Conversion :).

As for the topic... It´s interesting to start with small tasks. I have always tried to make mods and megawads and such and the only result is that I have released only two maps XD!. Maybe you´d want to start with something smaller, like an episode for Doom or 7 to 10 levels for Doom2. This way it´s easier to get people to map for it :).

Yeah, i tend to make only a couple of maps at a time, that way you don't get bored just working on the same project...
