super zoomed in hell time

for some reason, and this hasnt always been the case, when i use helltime in RoE my screen gets super zoomed in. it's hard to walk and kill shit like that. it wasnt like this in the beginning. im just really confused why its doin this. here are some comparison screenshots so you can see what im talking about

and i just discovered my screen looks like this when i use the gravity gun. maybe i need a fresh install only i dont have the disc with me at the moment. any suggestions?

Type FOV 90 in console when it does it might fix it.

tried it but it doesnt recognize "FOV 90" as a command.

its something wrong with the shaders that do the reflect and bulge effects. try updating your graphic card drivers, or if they are up to date, install an older driver.

Or if installing new drivers doesn't work, reinstall RoE.
And the command is g_fov 90 that you can put in the console :p .
