The more I see of this movie, the less I want to see it. Until now I haven't seen a single picture that reminded me of any of the Doom games.

Those pics don't really show much apart from the fact that this movie has the Rock in, and that he will be pulling a slightly-confused-looking-tough-guy face. I think Dennis Quaid would have made a much better Doom guy.

Actually those pics do make me think this movie will be more like Doom 3 than Doom. Which is a bummer.

Wicked Anime Kid, you don't need much money, you could make a no budget Doom movie, with just zombies in it. You could set it in some woodland, so that you wouldn't need expensive sets.

The only problem would be finding a suitable costume for the Doom guy (or guys, if you wanted some different characters) to wear. I guess you could just give him some camo gear from an army surplus store (a camoflaged Doom guy would be neat), but you'd still need a proper Doom mask, or it just wouldn't be the Doom guy.

Second. Bertruger was originally a scientist that became posessed by the Devil. He was not created by them. (I wonder how many people actually listened to the disk from the guy in the teleporter room.)

Maybe it was because they needed a bigger portal. If Bertruger was posessed, he could get the scientists to build the huge portal in Delta 4, they also needed him to steal the Soul Cube. In effect, it was needed the first time to fight back the monster invasion, so the demons sought after it before they invaded again.

The latter part is illogical, since the humans did not know the meaning of the soul cube. And about the portal, I think that an imp can fit through a place which a human has fit through.

After reading that interview, I am no longer disappointed in any way, shape or form in this movie, and I'm looking forward to it 100%. Hey, maybe they called it the Big F*cking Gun after all! :D

Not so! In one of the audio logs in the delta facilitys, a scientist states that he believed that the Soul Cube was infact a weapon, and to keep it away from Betruger. Second, you also need to realize that the portal needed to be big enough to let hell knights through. not just punny imps.
