I seem to have lost the fun I used to have in editing (or playing) DooM. Right up to the point where I started to consider dropping out of the project.

I can't promise to have Map03 ready by the time this thing should be released as that wouldn't be very credible, not even to myself. And I don't want to delay you guys any further.

So if you haven't heard of me by the end of summer, consider Map03 dead. You can do whatever you want with my other map, take it out or leave it in, it's your call.

Goodbye and have a nice holiday :)

I'm having a hard time getting back into editing Doom as well. It didn't help that I got distracted by Guild Wars. Of course we want to keep your other map in, you didn't want to take it out, did you? :/

I think he went on vacation. Hope he takes a good break and comes back refreshed and stuff. Getting mappers block is always a drag and DoomedAce has been doing a lot of mapping lately.

I mean, i would'nt want to impose on this project. And i understand if you'd rather not have anyone else doing it, but the offer is there, if help is needed.

Can i just ask though, is there a theme to this megawad? Or is it just a collection of the best maps from people on the forum??

While I'm in the project, we can't really say it's a collection of best maps. ;)


But I suppose that the theme isn't really strict at all. You can make any kind of map you want to. But before starting you should really ask Doom Dude wether it's ok or not for you to join. I don't see a reason why you couldn't join the project, but Doom Dude's the boss 'round here.

Ok, thats fair enough really. I would'nt just automatically assume i could join. But i'll wait and see what D_D says. *cool*
