I thought it was kinda cool and made me remember a few things.

I didn't get into Doom until 96 or 7 when I saw some kid playing at Toys R Us. I never seen any PC game, or anything more advanced than Legend of Zelda! Suddenly, there I was just mesmerised by the "new" Nintendo64! I must have stood there for 45 minutes!

Someone asked if I was ok, I said, "Yes! What is that!" I went home $200 poorer and played that Doom64 for the next 6 months or so.

Those dreams haunted me awake and asleep, creeping down dimly lit passages, shotgun in hand, never knowing when that dreaded Hell-Knight or Baron would appear! "EEERRRRGGGH!" Game scared the shit outta me, playing in the dark with a 27" stereo TV, and I was 31 years old!

That was why I got into mapping so much after I got a PC. Some of us want to make dreams come true, I guess. I'd rather see my nightmares. :)

seriously, how old are most ppl when they stopped having nightmares? doom is ez if u play it "properly" lol, or is it the other way around, i just kill everything its fun, but i never have any nightmares, but i have dreams killing everything
