It's better than your first version but it still needs much improvement.
For example, you use 128x128 doors for a 128x64 hallway. The door texture looks really bad that way. Use a 128x64 door texture for better result.
Try also to add more textures because a grey wall all the time quickly loses interest.
Also, I think you don't have enough experience to create a megawad yet. Try making 1 level and keep improving that. Look at other wads for inspiration.
I deleted my first couple of levels when I began editing. (Wow that must been 8 years ago)
Anyway, good luck! *thumbs*

Much better, but still the cream of the crap... Try fixing up the thin doors. They use the large door texture. Also, under the doors has a darker lighting than around. It looks odd.
Try adding things like medkits or some health pick ups too. And try an assortment of enemies, not so much zombies.
I do, however like the flashing lights where the nukage is, I may steal this idea. :)

Also, try making a plan for your level to take. This is just Room>Corridor>Room and no one wants to play that. There needs to be some point to playing, some substance. Go play through Episode 1 of Doom and see how the levels fit together.
Also, drop the Megawad idea, that wont happen.

Consider yourself Blessed that you are at NewDoom forums, Deus Ex. :) Please consider checking out my site (shown as my signature below) as I have tried to compile useful and necessary information I have collected here from these gracious people that know and help. Lots of info I wouldn't have needed to ask about when I started.
The megawad is a noble endeavor, and something I think we all must feel ideas about the first time we get into an editor we can work with and actually make a playable map, (no matter how simple or stupid it might be to others.)
Don't give up on this idea, but get the right skills and tools and ideas, taking a serious look now at what has been, and is being created, (now that you have stepped beyond the "player" level.)
The most talented and knowledgeable Doom mappers you will ever meet are here, frequenting this forum. Take full advantage of that, but don't waste their time if you can find what you need to know somewhere yourself.
And don't let anyone dog you down too much. (Stay away from DoomWorld!) You might be the one to make the most fantastic megawad anyone has ever played.

Good to hear.
Psyren: In most cases doomworld frequenters are just more open to calling a spade a spade, which many [beginning] mappers would rather not hear. Compliments are good, but lying about someones job to make them feel better is detrimental to their progress.
DeusEx: If you dont mind utter honesty when looking for suggestions, then I will continue to provide them if you like, and even help you get your ideas out into the editor.

Thanx, I don't mind critiscism where its due, it'll help me in the long run.
by the way, how do you do sky in Doombuilder? Every time i put sky textures in, it just tiles them, and looks crap!

Yhe sky texture in the 3d mode is not how it looks in Doom itself. You put thoses tiles in, and when you play Doom, the sky textures are hard coded in. It automatically uses the sky texture from whatever map you are playing with.

Iori, the Forelorens are always needing a bit of help. And I know you always do try to help, as do I. Saying something bad is always something bad, but saying something good inspires the young to cultivate thier creative ways, and, I think, make them better? Combined, of course, with the proper negative reaction that is only to be expected from us.
