Ok, the development of ua is making progress but it's going rather slow so I'm asking for extra mappers to help us out.
If you're intersted, drop me an email or post in this thread.
Thanks! *thumbs*

@mute: Follow the link in my signature to get an idea. Send me an email and you'll get one back with a job description.

@mop: Actually I have themes planned already for every level of ua. But send it over if you like so I can see if the design and theme fits somewhere.

Please send wads and other stuff to Azriel666@gmail.com
Thanks. :)

well beggers can't be choosers. if your asking for help but have a specific plan for the final product you could have mentioned it when you first asked.

Isn't this normal? IMO all projects have specific plans but you're right, I should have mentioned it. Forgive me. :)

This is a very tough job for an artist, but Azriel has some very excellent ideas and very well thought out plans.

This is a project that can certainly sort out, those of us who could go to work for a game company and put talent to work on something much bigger than we could ever think about ourselves, and those of us who are simply mapping for the fun of it.

We hear the tales of independent mappers that are so good they are asked to join some company. Some of them are doing very well and driving Jags and Harleys to work today.

Maybe it doesn't happen in 2005, but maybe it does...

Hey Azriel, do we even have a mapping team name?

@psyren: thanks :) BTW, I still have those levels from the project we started on some time ago. If you want to continue work, let me know. *thumbs*

@mute: why do we need a mapping team name?

So... When the megawad is released, if we ever work on something else, we can say it's from the same team. That way if it is an awsome wad, people will want to play the newer work too.

And besides, it's more fun :)

Gu-x, if you get desperate for wads for your site I have a bunch of legacy maps at http://www.murray6.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/3ddoom/index.htm

Im almost tempted to join the mapping team but I really do have too many projects going already

The plan is as good as finished already. I overthought the whole bunch long before I announced the project.
Send me an email and you'll get a reply.

Heh, just noticed there's a project team in the making here *weird*

I'm not sure. Let's say that after this project is done I want to make a mod for another game. I don't think everyone of my current team is willing to work on a project for a game besides Doom. But we'll see how it turns out.

I've started on Map 4, as you requested.
